pay them high fees for the information. All one needs is a PC

about him or her including his or her address and phone number.
The starting point can be
the social networking site Facebook, one can search for the
person by name or e.mail address to get to the profile of the
person and from there get much information like location, his or
her friends, education etc. One can even look at the pictures of
the person and match it with the name to be sure that the
profile is really of the person in question.
Secondly, one can head to
professional social networking site LinkedIn. Again on linkedIn
one can search by first and last name of the person to land on
his or her profile. Once at the correct profile one can get all
the information like current job, past job history and education
of the person.
Thirdly, If you have the
home phone number or mobile number of the person you want to
trace, then a lot of information can found by reverse tracing
the mobile or phone number of the person. You can almost
certainly know of the location of the person.
Lastly, doing a random
Google search on the name of the person can throw up some
interesting results and often lead to new discoveries about the
person. In case the normal web result is not showing much about
the person try the Google image search. One can also
search on other major search engine like Bing to dig further.
So we seen that it is
almost impossible to hide in this connected world and
information about almost anyone can found using these free tools
available to everyone. So next time you go on date or about to
meet some one a little bit of learning about him or her can make
the meeting more secure. Same id true for employees and
employers- a bit of background check can help avoid trouble in
future.
Be safe and always tell
at least one person (in family or friend) when you are going to
meet a stranger alone. Bit of caution never harms. |
